All About Me

Hi my name is Mrs. Youssef and I am so excited that I will be teaching you this year. We are going to create many creative projects and we will learn about different artists. Our projects are fun, interesting, and challenging which will capture your interest. I love the controlled chaos of the art room and I love spreading my passion for art to others! My goal is to teach you new techniques and learn about art history.

Here is a little bit about me…

I grew up in Cairo, Egypt and I am luck enough to visit the Pyramids, Egyptian Museum, Cairo Tower and Sharm El Sheikh. I like to paint and listen to music. My favorite colors are yellow and turquoise.

Education

I graduated with a BA-Art-Fine Arts: Major: Sculpture 2013 at New Jersey City University and certified as an Art Teacher K- 12 and I have another degree from my country with BA-Foreign Language: Major: Translation, 2006 at Cairo University, Cairo, Egypt. Also, I am a certified ESL teacher. I'm very excited because I will start my Master Degree in Fine Arts this Fall.

Teaching Experience:

I teach Visual Art at Berkeley/Franklin School. I worked as a Paraprofessional at Clifton Public Schools 2012/2013. I live in Old Bridge which is 45 minutes away from here. My birthday is in December, 20. My favorite food is Pizza and I love chocolate.

I am looking forward for another creative great year in the art room!
