Immersive Reader (Extension)-NO LONGER WORKING☹️

Allows students to highlight online text, right-click on it, and select Help Me Read This

Once the text opens in Immersive Reader there are additional options/tools available:

Text Preferences: The user can determine the text size, spacing, font, and theme of the document.

Grammar Options: Separate the text into syllables and have the parts of speech color coded.

Reading Preferences: The user can determine how much text is displayed with line focus, enable a picture dictionary, or translate by word or entire document.

HELPERBIRD (Extension)

As Immersive Reader is no more. This is an alternative that gives you access to IMMERSIVE READER. Here are directions and a brief video tutorial.

Rewordify (Website)

This website allows the user to simplify text or website by copying and pasting within the provided box.

Dual Subtitles (Extension)

This extension allows the user to simultaneously display two different languages of closed captioning within YouTube videos.

Google Translate (In the Waffle)

Translate Text, Images, Documents, or Websites.

Translate My SLIDE (ADD ON)

Google Slides Add-On allows you to translate your slides within one click.

Canva Translate (Website)

Design your flyers or social media elements and translate them within the More Apps of Canva.

BRAINPop (Clever)

We asked....and the program implemented those features. You will now notice audio translations (French and Spanish) are available on MOST videos (student side). In assigning a video, you have Pause Points and Apply and Access with built in Immersive Reader.

SWANK STREAMING (In THE WAFFLE)

You can find the videos to play in your classroom, not there, request them, or assign them to your students to watch at home. These videos can also be utilized for a fundraiser!
