What is Blackboard?
Blackboard is a Web-based Learning Management System that allows instructors to deliver course materials, communicate with students, and create learning activities. Bloomfield College currently uses Blackboard to support online courses and classroom-based instruction.
Blackboard is password protected, so only registered students can access a course. Students can access their course materials, and participate in the discussions anytime and anywhere that has an Internet connection.
How to Access Blackboard
Access Blackboard through myBloomfield Portal
- Go to College's Web site: http://www.bloomfield.edu
- Click myBloomfield Portal Link
- Once you log in the Portal, click My Blackboard Classes Tab
- Click a course title, then you will be taken into that course in Blackboard.
Access Blackboard on Mobile Devices
Blackboard can also be accessed through Mobile App. Blackboard Mobile App for students is called Blackboard, and is available for IOS, Android devices, and Windows Surface devices. Read more details...
