About Ms. Carlone:
Ms. Carlone grew up in Rockland County, NY and attended Clarkstown South High School where she played volleyball and softball. She played Division III Volleyball at SUNY Cortland, obtained her B.S.ED in Physical Education and graduated in 2013. She also obtained her M.S. in Physical and Health Education in 2015. Ms.Carlone's first school that she taught at was Clarkstown South High School, her alma mater doing a leave replacement, followed by Clarkstown North High School and Bardonia Elementary. She continued her volleyball coaching career at Rye Neck as a varsity assistant for one year and continued to coach volleyball in the off-season at a travel club for 3 seasons at 15's and 17's age bracket. Then, she found her dream job as a Physical and Health Education Teacher at Blind Brook High School. She was the JV coach for 5 years and is currently the Varsity Head Coach for 5 years. Last year, the varsity volleyball team made history winning the first section title in the volleyball program. Ms. Carlone is the dance advisor, a senior class advisor and loves to attend all sporting events. She plans on continuing to teach Physical and Health Education to high school students and to coach varsity sports at Blind Brook for the rest of her career. In her free time, Ms. Carlone likes to play volleyball competitively, play with her dogs, and is a food taste tester!
