Hello! My name is Christine Ross and I am a 9-12 School Counselor at Blair High School. I welcome you to the Blair High School Counseling website and, specifically, to my page!
As a native Nebraskan, I grew up in Wisner and graduated from Wisner-Pilger High School. I attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney and began my career in education as a special education teacher at Wood River Rural Jr.-Sr. High School. After receiving my master's degree in secondary school counseling from UNK, I accepted my current position and the 2023-2024 school year will mark my 20th year as a school counselor with Blair Community Schools. It is rewarding to be part of such a wonderful community and district and I am excited for another great school year!
The three counselors at the high school see all students through classroom lessons but split the student body by alphabet for individual monitoring. I work with students in grades 9-12 whose last names begin with the letters H - N. Please feel free to contact me at any time with questions regarding your child or the BHS School Counseling Program.
