About Me

Hi! I’m Emily Coartney, and I’m excited to serve as one of the school counselors at Arbor Park Elementary School.

I married my husband, Zach, in October of 2025. We enjoy spending time at home with our dogs, Archie and Delilah. I also love reading mystery and thriller novels. I am a big Broadway fan, and even have season tickets to the Orpheum in Omaha! Some of my favorite shows are Six, Wicked, and Hamilton. 

Education & Experience

I began my college journey at Nebraska Wesleyan University, where I studied Elementary Education and Psychology. I later earned my Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction with an emphasis in Social-Emotional Learning from Doane University in 2022. I am currently pursuing my Master of Education in School Counseling at Doane University, which will be completed in the spring of 2027.

I taught kindergarten and first grade for Lincoln Public Schools for three years after completing my undergraduate degree. I also taught kindergarten at Deerfield last school year.

About Me

My name is Layne Lueders.  I have been a school counselor at Blair Schools since 1996, and retired in 2021.  Currently I am the school counselor for grades 3-5 at Arbor Park on Mondays and Fridays, and Otte Middle School Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. I live in Blair with my wife, Amy Lueders. I have three kids, Grace, Sam, and Ted. In my free time I enjoy reading, hunting, fishing, exercising and being outdoors.

Education & Experience

I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a master's degree in K-12 School Counseling.  Go Lopers!
