Both of these exams will be completed in the Hall under the supervision of Mrs Morgan and a team of external invigilators. Each exam paper is 1 hour and 30 minutes long and is worth 25% of your overall grade, with both exams totalling 50% of your grade.
On Unit 3, there will be will be more marks for your reading skills than your writing accuracy (15% reading and 10% writing).
On Unit 4, there will be more marks for your writing accuracy than your reading skills (15% writing and 10% reading).
As with Uned 1 and Uned 2, any of the topics can come up on these papers and there is always a mix of all three themes on the paper. Exam question styles can change slightly from year to year, but your teachers will have copies of all previous exam papers if you want them to help with revision.
IMPORTANT - Pay close attention to the wording of the questions in these exams. Your teachers will give you information about how best to answer these questions based on the key words used.
