On the day of the exam, you will be waiting in the Hall under supervision of invigilators until you are called to watch the video part of your exam.
You will be collected by an invigilator and taken to the video room to watch the video. As well as completing the tick sheet, this is also your time for making extra notes on your exam sheet to help your conversation. All notes must be made without using any books or revision notes, but you can discuss it with your partner/group. Your teacher will then collect you for the speaking part of the exam. Your teacher cannot explain anything about the video, but you may ask for help during the recording of the exam by using the phrase "Beth ydy ...?" ("What is ...?").
Once started, pairs have a maximum of 8 minutes to complete their exam, whilst groups of 3 have a maximum of 10 minutes to complete their exam.
Each of the previous exam topics are named below to help with your revision. Remember that no topic is guaranteed to come up and no exam paper will appear again in the same format, but your teachers will have copies of the exam paper if you want them to help with revision.
