Visiting for the first time: What to Expect

Visiting a new church can be intimidating. Here is some information to help.

When You Arrive

Our parking lot is on the north side of the church.

Worship Time

10 am , the service lasts about an hour, then is followed by a Fellowship time downstairs in Hardesty Hall.

Attire

Some of us wear blue jeans, while others wear business clothing. Wear what makes you comfortable. Look through our photos to see what people wear to church.

Accessible

The sanctuary and the upstairs of the building are wheelchair accessible. The restrooms are in the basement and we do have a chair lift for those needing assistance.

Ministers

We are currently searching for a settled pastor, but do have an Interim Pastor that preaches 3 Sundays a month. When Rev. Hartley is not preaching we have members of the congregation who share the message for the service.

Children

We have Sunday school for children from 3 through 15. Older youth are welcome to stay in service or help with Sunday school.

Communion

We celebrate Communion about once a month. We believe that Jesus sets the Table, not us. Therefore, all people are welcome whether they are members of any church or not.

Music

We offer a wide variety of music and styles. Our choir sings most Sundays. The choir practices before service and on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month, and always welcomes people to join.

If you're an immigrant, a refugee, or never left here a day

If you rent, own your home, live in your folks' spare

If a person of diff'ring abilities is you

The place may look safe but how will we treat you?

We'll welcome you; that's what we'll do!
