Grant Application Letter to Agencies

Dear Prospective Blackford United Way Agency:

Attached please find the Blackford United Way, Inc. Agency Information Summary 2022 Grant Proposal Request (application), the Report of Use of Grant Funds for 2021, and the Agency Financial Information for 2022 Allocation forms. If you did not receive Blackford United Way grant funds in 2021 you do not need to complete the Use of Grant Funds form.

To request funds from Blackford United Way for 2022, please complete and return the enclosed forms by Monday, February 7, 2022. Please mail all of the original forms plus twelve (12) copies of the Agency Information Summary (application), twelve (12) copies of the Financial Information, and twelve (12) copies of the Report on Use of Grant Funds (if applicable). Forms that are not complete and/or forms that are not received by the stated deadline will not be considered, without exception, for an allocation in 2022. Once all of the requests are received, the Blackford United Way Board of Directors will begin the process of evaluating the information provided and determine the agencies they feel are in the most need of our resources that will be used to benefit the Blackford community. Please be specific when completing your grant proposal request and financial information so our Board of Directors has the information they need as they distribute United Way funds.

Once the Board has reviewed the applications received, we may contact your agency to schedule an interview with your agency representative. Returning United Way agencies may not be required to participate in the interview process. Interviews will be scheduled in March.
