A vet referral is needed before we can make an appointment with your dog for either hydrotherapy or physiotherapy. You will need to contact your vet and depending on the specific circumstances, your vet may need to see your dog to complete this referral. Whether your pet needs to be seen in person will likely depend on how recently your dog last saw your vet and the particular condition your dog needs treatment for.
Once your vet has either documented in the history notes (or emailed the team directly) that physiotherapy or hydrotherapy is appropriate for your dog's condition, we can start the booking process. Please send this referral information, along with any other relevant vet history records, to blackdogphysio@gmail.com
Physiotherapy and Hydrotherapy is often covered by Pet Insurance, but this will ultimately depend on your particular insurance policy. We encourage you to check this out with your insurance provider.
We look forward to working with you
