Mr. Girish B holds the position of Assistant Professor within the Department of Mechanical Engineering. With a comprehensive background spanning 15 years in teaching and 12 years dedicated to research, his expertise lies in the realms of Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow.
Mr. Girish B has contributed significantly to the academic community through his work, with a portfolio that includes six publications. Among these, three have been featured in esteemed international journals, showcasing his research findings to a global audience. Additionally, he has presented three papers at international conferences, further disseminating his insights and engaging with peers across the globe.
Mr. Girish B has demonstrated a significant commitment to nurturing the next generation of engineers by guiding over 100 undergraduate students in their projects.
He has actively participated in over 30 professional development activities, including Faculty Development Programmes, Workshops, and Short Term Training Programs.
Mr. Girish B had the privilege of presenting an invited talk on "Energy Conservation: Need, Challenges, and Opportunities" at the National Energy Conservation Day held on December 14, 2022. This significant event was hosted by the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, in partnership with The Institution of Engineers (India) Students Chapter, at Bangalore Institute of Technology, Bangalore.
Mr. Girish B is actively engaged in advancing his academic career by currently pursuing a PhD focused on Heat Transfer in Fluidized Beds.
