Professionals seeking a career change, recent graduates, current teachers,, and students pursuing careers in education are invited to attend the Hiring for Diversity Virtual Job Fair . Teachers, administrators, and those interested in a career in private and independent primary, secondary schools, colleges or universities are encouraged to attend.

The Hiring for Diversity Virtual Job Fair seeks to attract a broad range of candidates who want to help make area educational institutions more reflective of the WNY community. Recruiters in attendance are also interested in candidates who wish to support equity efforts, especially those from historically underrepresented or underserved backgrounds.

The event is being co-sponsored by The Education Collaborative of WNY (EdCo, edcowny.org), a consortium of 13 private secondary schools in WNY, and Eastern Education Resource Collaborative (East Ed, easted.org), an advocate for diversity and equity practices in educational institutions across the nation.

Representatives from WNY private and independent schools, colleges and universities will be available to network virtually with candidates and hold immediate interviews for current openings. There will also be a panel discussion featuring area educators and representatives from East Ed discussing their experience working in and within independent primary, secondary schools, colleges or universities.
