Options for joining a sport this spring

Sports need consistent effort and time. To be considered good at a sport, a person would need to put in a lot of work. In high school, most students who participate in athletic clubs have been playing since a young age, so can you decide to join a sport and compete with teammates? With the right amount of effort, it’s completely possible. “I’ve seen seniors join track just to have fun with friends and end up having fun and being good at it,” said varsity volleyball coach Jamie Zastoupil.
It’s never too late to join a physical activity. Athletic clubs, like many other clubs, need frequent practice and a great deal of time. If you’re willing to put in the effort needed, you have a fair chance of being good at that physical activity. That effort may include working out or joining a specific athletic club at a lower level. Sports require passion, talent, and hard work to be successful.
Athletes say that cardiovascular workouts and stamina training serve l late athletes well, if they wish to become better at an activity. “Cardio or endurance training would be good,” said freshman Aurora Gross. Sports are a physical risk. Do not let the possibility of injuries discourage you from joining a sport.
