Each year, 3rd-6th graders across Texas are responsible for choosing the winner of the prestigious Texas Bluebonnet Award when they vote for their favorite from a list of 20 books.

In order to vote, students must read (or listen to) at least 5 books from the list.

There will be a Bluebonnet Award given at the end of the year. Each grade level (3-5) will have a specific number of books to read in order to receive the award.
