High School US History EOC - Early in 2018 TEA announced that the US History EOC exam would include 10 US Citizenship and Immigration Services questions in accordance with House Bill 1244. These randomly selected exam questions will fit within the scope and sequence of the course and match the streamlined version of the US History standards. EOC exams were not given last year due to COVID, so the plan will be implemented this year.
The 2021 US History EOC will include the 10 Citizenship and Immigration questions that will only be in field test question slots, so the length of the test will not change. Also, these field test questions will not be calculated in the final student score or campus or district accountability ratings. Please see the House Bill 1244 - U.S. History End-of-Course slide deck for full details. Teachers and students may also use the 2008 Study Guide Questions to review for these field test questions
