African American History Month

February is African American History Month! The Library of Congress says that African American History Month "celebrates the contributions that African Americans have made to American history in their struggles for freedom and equality and deepens our understanding of our Nation's history." Many Burleson ISD campuses may have organized their own observances and celebrations in the past and are encouraged to make plans for this year. Burleson ISD campuses may also use the African American History Slide Deck in announcements or display on your campus. Please reach out to Josh Hofford with any questions.
