• BISD Voter Registration Drive Begins - September 20, 2021

• BISD Voter Applications Mailed - September 27, 2021

• Texas Voter Registration Deadline - October 4, 2021

  1. Voter Registration Cards delivered to the voter registration office by October 4 will meet the deadline

  2. Voter Registration Cards postmarked by October 4 will meet the deadline

• General National Election - November 2, 2021

1. Access the State of Texas Request Portal to order Voter Registration Applications

2. Read through the High School Deputy Registrar Training slides and implement the steps

4. All eligible students will be given the opportunity to register to vote using the Voter Registration Applications when voter drive begins

   1. Principal is the campus registrar and will distribute collect, review and mail applications, but can delegate this duty to a campus designee in writing

      1. Email

5. Applications are sent to the Secretary of State via US Post

   1. Postage paid

6. Applications are distributed at least twice a year

   1. Maximize the number of students being offered the opportunity to vote

   2. Applications distributed within 30 days of the end of the semester

7. Send record your voter registration information at the Voter Registration Communication Page when your drive is over

Students Who Will Register to Vote Remotely

1. Eligible students may call their county elections office and request a voter registration card mailed to them
