Revised GT Program Manual

Principals, below is the revised GT Program Manual, which will be published on the district GT webpage. A couple of notes for you:

• Over the next three years as we are training teachers through the Reading Academy, please do not cluster your GT or talent pool students with a teacher who has not already had the 30 Hour Training. This is to keep the teacher from participating in both the Reading Academy and the 30 Hour GT Training in the same year.

• Teachers are referred to the campus principal for guidance on whether a professional development class will count for GT hours. If the class has GT hours and is offered by BISD or Region 11, the hours will count. If the class is outside of those bounds, you may contact Seth to confirm whether or not the class would count.
