Please have someone on your campus verify that each student identified as GT is receiving services this year. Services are received when a student is enrolled in an Honors course, a Pre-AP course, an AP course, or a GT elective. The family of an identified GT student who is not receiving services should be contacted. If the family agrees that the student will not receive services this year, please fill out the GT Furlough paperwork (http://bit.ly/BISDGTFurlough) and submit the paperwork at this form by September 17th. Seth will serve as the GT Coordinator. When you are ready, contact Seth and he will come to the campus to sign the paperwork.
All AP Pathways teachers received training on differentiation for GT students and were given expectations for GT services for the 2021-2022 school year during August PD. Training on differentiation for GT students will be ongoing through the year during district PD.
