Create Clickable Announcements

Clickable announcements create a stationary banner at the top of the Materials page that can used to visually guide students through their weekly lessons.

1. Create a table of images in a Google doc.

2. Add links to the images

3. Make table invisible

4. Drag to select all images and press Crtl + C to copy

5. Open a Schoology Course

6. Click Updates in left column

7. Press Ctrl + V to paste the table of images

8. Click the speech bubble next to the Post button and select the bell icon to pin the Announcement

9. Click Post

You can also create clickable folder images. You can use Google Slide or Google Drawings to create your images as well.
