Parents or guardians are able to create their own Schoology account with view only rights to assist in supporting their students.
In order to access a parent account, families have to use the same email that is listed in Skyward.

Select Forgot Your Password
Enter your Email Address - the same one listed in Skyward
Click Send My Login Info
To Confirm or Find Your Email Address in Skyward Family Access
Visit www.burlesonisd.net
Select Families and Students from the top menu
Select Skyward Family Access
Login and select My Account in the upper right-hand corner

Create a Parent Account according to instructions at the top of this page.
Once logged in, click the arrow in top left corner by your name.
You should see all BISD students associated with you in Skyward.

How does my child log into Schoology?
On a district Chromebook, 3 tabs automatically open when launching Google Chrome. Tab #1 Zoom login, Tab #2 Schoology, Tab #3 Clever. The link to Schoology can also be found on the district website https://www.burlesonisd.net/ under the Families & Students menu. Students log into Schoology using their Google email address and district password.
What if my child is using a personal device that is not district-managed?
Students on a personal device may access Schoology by navigating to burlesonisd.schoology.com and logging in using their Google email and district password. The link to Schoology can also be found on the district website https://www.burlesonisd.net/ under the Families & Students menu.
What is my child's login information?
Students log into Schoology using their Gmail address and password. The naming conventions used for students are:
first 5 letters of last name first 3 letters of first name 000@bisdmail.net
Grades Pre K - 5 Passwords: bisd(ID#) example bisd123456
Grades 6-12 Students create their own password

How can I see my child's grades in Schoology?
All grades will be visible only in Skyward.

I don't want to receive any more Schoology emails. How do I turn them off?
1. Click your name in top right corner
2. Select Settings
3. Select the Notifications tab
