Ms. Reuling

Hello! My name is Amy Reuling and this will be my eighth year of teaching. I taught for three years in Gig Harbor and then came to Blakely. Here at Blakely I have taught kindergarten and third grade. I am so excited for another year of third grade. One of my favorite things to explore with third graders is fractions.  

I was born and raised in Northern Wisconsin, and have been living in Washington for the past ten years. Most of my family still lives in the Midwest, but they love coming out to WA to visit. 

I love any excuse to be outside. Biking, kayaking, hiking and camping are some of my favorite things to do. This summer I was able to explore so many new and beautiful places in the Pacific Northwest. I have also biked from Washington to eastern Montana and done a couple of long kayaking trips near some beautiful glaciers in remote areas of Alaska. When I'm not going places, I really enjoy spending time in the garden and cooking up delicious meals at home. 

I am really looking forward to this year and am thrilled to be your child's third grade teacher.
