About Me

My teaching career first began here at Odyssey as a substitute teacher. It was the Odyssey staff and community who inspired me to take up teaching as a profession and it was here that I found mentors to guide my student teaching. I am blessed to now be a part of the fabulous teaching team.

In addition to being an Odyssey teacher, I am also a proud Odyssey parent to two 5/6 Ospreys. My family moved from Issaquah to Bainbridge Island in 2017. I grew up in the foothills of the Sierras in northern California, lived on both the west and east coasts, but find myself most at home in the PNW, especially on those gray, rainy days.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy backpacking in the Cascades, visiting the Seattle Art Museum, seeing theater and live music and exploring the waters of the Puget Sound.
