A tiny bit about me
I graduated from UC Davis some time ago with a BA in Communications and a BS in Managerial Economics. Since then, I have spent time as an auditor, in graphic design and earned a real estate license among other things. My love for learning new skills and sharing that knowledge led me to education. So, I went back to school to receive my teaching credential and Master's in Teaching from St. Mary's College in California.

This is my second year at Halilts, although this is my sixth year teaching. My family and I moved to the island two years ago, from California. My husband, Troy, and I have three kids and two dogs. Dashiell is a junior at BHS, Gabriella is in 8th grade at Woodward and Townsend will begin 5th grade at Sakai this year. Our furry family members, Inspector Marshmallow and Dr. S'more, are 7 years old.

Our class will spend the early weeks of First grade practicing routines and setting expectations. I strive to create a warm and welcoming community where all students feel supported and encouraged to be themselves. I want you to see me as an ally and a part of the team that will support you and your First grader.
