I graduated from UC Davis some time ago with a BA in Communications and a BS in Managerial Economics. Since then, I have spent time as an auditor, in graphic design and earned a real estate license among other things. My love for learning new skills and sharing that knowledge led me to education. So, I went back to school to receive my teaching credential and Master's in Teaching from St. Mary's College in California.
I have been teaching since 2018. My family and I moved to the island in 2021, from California. My husband, Troy, and I have three kids, Dashiell, Gabriella, and Townsend and two dogs, Inspector Marshmallow and Dr. S'more.
Our class will spend the early weeks of First grade practicing routines and setting expectations. I strive to create a warm and welcoming community where all students feel supported and encouraged to be themselves. I want you to see me as an ally and a part of the team that will support you and your First grader.
I can't wait to get to know you and your student!
Incredibly excited and optimistic,
