Ms. Berg

Hello! My name is Meghan Berg and this will be my 8th year teaching Kindergarten at Blakely. I am originally from Colorado, but moved out to Washington for college. I attended Western Washington University where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies with a focus on Outdoor Education. I worked as an outdoor educator, para professional and teaching assistant before I returned to school at Seattle University to get my Masters in Teaching. I was fortunate enough to do my student teaching right here at Blakely and feel so lucky to work in this amazing building. 

I met my husband, Christian, who grew up on the island at school in Bellingham. We have two amazing daughters; Lucy will be 6 in October and will be starting Kindergarten at Blakely this year! Eva turned two in July. They keep us busy and on our toes, but we love raising our family in this community. When I'm not teaching I love spending time in our garden, cooking and exploring this beautiful area we live in. 

I'm so looking forward to this year and am honored that I get to be your child's kindergarten teacher!
