Biosketch

Jia Deng joined the department of Systems Science and Industrial Engineering at Binghamton University as an assistant professor in 2017. He earned a B.S. degree in 2010 from Wuhan University of Technology, Wuhan, China in the field of Process Equipment and Control Engineering. In 2013, he received a M.S. degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China. In 2017, He earned his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, North Carolina. His research interests include process innovations and applications of AFM-based nanomanufacturing and biomedical additive manufacturing.
