Hi! My name is Mrs. Reader and I will be the sixth grade science teacher this year. I grew up in Shamokin, Pennsylvania where I attended high school as a SAHS Indian! As a teenager I had the coolest job working at Knoebels Amusement Resort in Elysburg, Pennsylvania.

I graduated from East Stroudsburg University in 2001 with a degree in elementary education. I went on to earn my masters degree from Kutztown University in Instructional Technology. I continue to take classes to gain more knowledge and develop new skills. My first year of teaching was kindergarten in my hometown. In 2002, I relocated to Brandywine and I have been teaching 6th grade science ever since! I am very excited to be starting my 21st year of teaching. Each year is always new and exciting!

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my daughters, Isabella and Amelia, and my husband, Cory. My family and I enjoy anything outdoors including hiking, kayaking, camping, and fishing.
