TECHNOLOGY

ENTER: MR. NAUGLE

MEET MR. NAUGLE:

Hello there! Welcome to the world of Technology! My name is Ryan Naugle, and I am beyond ecstatic to be your child's K-5 Technology teacher! 😄

I just recently graduated from Kutztown University with a B.S. in Middle-Level Ed. (Grades 4-8) in Math and Science... So, you may be thinking: "Why the transition to Technology?" Simply put, and, as you may have noticed above, video games were an immense part of my childhood - Pokémon, especially - and Technology is what ultimately allowed me to experience what was, for example, catching and collecting the fictional, elemental creatures portrayed by 2D, pixelated sprites. Technology, I have found, is somewhat like a 'cousin' to Math and Science, as they all fall under the umbrella of STEM.

Fret not, however, as Mr. Naugle is more than just a Poké-fanatic; I avidly appreciate bike riding, kayaking, drawing, singing (Bass II), theatrical performances, recreational volleyball, marksmanship, and so much more! My favorite TV show is Impractical Jokers, and my favorite movie is Mrs. Doubtfire. I care for three female guinea pigs, named Maple, Maisy, and Twinky - Twinky being the baby of Maisy!

I have worked with children both of elementary and middle-level ages between my experience at the Shillington Playground, Calvary Before and After School Care in Mohnton, PA, as well as my time student teaching at both the Reading School District and Wilson School District.

In addition to teaching K-5 Technology, I will also be heading BBN (Brandywine Broadcasting Network), our school's student-run morning announcements, as well as meeting with other teachers to assist with integrating technology into their lessons.

Should you need to contact me for anything, please contact my school email: ryanau@bhasd.org!
