In my classroom, we cover the following academic subjects:  Language Arts and Mathematics.  We also cover community skills, life skills, and social skills.  

About Mrs. Sheetz

My name is Melanie Sheetz.  I have been teaching at the Brandywine Heights Area School District for 18 years.  In my 18 years I have taught eighth grade learning support, kindergarten through third grade learning support, fifth through eighth grade autistic support and currently I teach fourth through eighth grade life skills support.  I also have learning support students on my caseload.  Teaching brings such joy to my life.  I love seeing the students smile when they have reached success or learned something new.  

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family.  My husband and I have known each other since we were six years old and played soccer together.  We are married twelve years and have two beautiful daughters.  Adalynn is ten years old and Zoey is five years old.
