I am excited to be teaching second grade this school year.  I have spent eighteen years teaching eighth grade math at the Middle School before transferring to the Elementary School.  This will be my fourth year teaching second grade!  I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education Mathematics and Elementary Education from Kutztown University.  Additionally, I have a Master’s degree in classroom technology from Wilkes University.  I enjoy spending time with my husband, Mr. Whalen, who is a 5th grade teacher at the Intermediate School and High School wrestling coach.  Our three children Brady, Garrett, and Kendall, keep us very busy!
