EdCamp UCC - Walkers Point

EdCamp UCC Walker's Point 2022 will be the THIRD EdCamp hosted by the United Community Center Schools. FREE registration is available by following the link here: https://eventbrite.com/e/374267011707/

Edcamp UCC Walker's Point: Saturday, October 1st from 9:00am - 12:30pm at our UCC Schools Bruce Guadalupe Middle School facility (920 S. 9th Street, Milwaukee, WI).

The event is FREE to all participants, and a pancake breakfast AND taco bar lunch will be provided at NO COST! All participants will receive prizes and have the chance to win some amazing raffle prizes if you stay until the end!

An EdCamp is an opportunity to collaborate, innovate, learn, and grow with other educators and educational leaders! Teachers gather together to learn a topic of interest, or present information on a teaching strategy/innovative practice/tool/resource. Gather with us on October 19th to learn and grow and network with other educators in the Milwaukee and southeast Wisconsin area!

What is an EdCamp?

An edcamp is an informal unconference-style day of professional development organized and given by the local participants with sessions determined at the time of the event. Connect with other educators to share innovative instructional strategies and technologies that transform education for all students.

Arrive with an idea for a session that you would like to lead and be ready to learn. A session might explore a technology tool, a discussion about best practices or a collaborative presentation with multiple facilitators.

You will have the opportunity to attend up to four sessions. The rule of the unconference is to “vote with your feet”. If a session doesn’t meet your needs, simply get up and move on to another room.
