WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!

Childcare & Summer camp

The Governor has announced that Summer Camps can open July 6th and childcare can open as early as June 15th. We are currently working hard to set an opening date for our members. Please stay tuned this week for more information regarding a reopening date for our programs.

Our community came together and raised over $15,000 for our Neighbors in Hardship Scholarship Fund. 'Thank You' is simply not enough. Your support allows BGCNWNJ to open our door to kids in our community who need us more than ever, no matter what. Together we STAND, Together we GIVE, Together we HEAL.

Thank you for being a Neighborhood Hero

We recognize that the Coronavirus crisis has led to pay cuts, job loss, and significant financial difficulties for a great many families in our local communities.

To lessen the burden, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest New Jersey has created a Neighbors in Hardship Scholarship Fund. Having safe and reliable childcare when parents are allowed to return to their worksites will be crucial. This fund will enable children, of member and local families facing financial devastation, to participate in our daycare and early education, before and after-school programs, summer and vacation camps, and in our recreational and competitive sports teams.

When it is safe to open our doors, we will be ready to serve and will continue to provide safe and comprehensive childcare and programming between 7 am to 7 pm to the children and families that need it. This crisis comes with a significant financial responsibility to the Club, as we will absorb the enrollment fees for families who are getting back on their feet and unable to pay. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest New Jersey relies on enrollment fees to operate our Club and programs, from staff payroll to maintaining our facilities to transportation needs to insurance and more.

To help the families who need us, we need the support of individual donors, corporate and foundation funders, and other organizations. Our goal is to raise $200,000 to ensure that we can cover the BGCNWNJ enrollment cost for every child that is in need of financial assistance over the next twelve months. Together, we can provide the support our members and other families struggling in our communities need to get back on their feet.

Our communities need us more than ever. Please join us as we prepare to support our local communities as they rebuild their lives after this devastating crisis.
