Youth Rebuilding New Orleans (YRNO)

Our mission: YRNO engages local youth in the betterment of the New Orleans community as volunteers work to reduce blight by rebuilding distressed and foreclosed homes. These finished homes are then sold to educators in order to stabilize neighborhoods and positively impact the education system. The Ben Franklin YRNO chapter focuses on having workdays where we work on various construction projects, including demolition, painting, sheet-rocking, and landscaping.
