The High School Robotics team, St. Lawrence Stingerz, attended the First Tech Challenge Kick-Off at Clarkson University in September. At the Kick-Off event we interacted with other local teams and teams from far away. So far we are holding a scrimmage at our school November 8th from 1PM - 4PM.
This is the tenth year of our school having a robotics team. In the 2017-2018 season, we competed at Clarkson University for a non-qualifier match for the Relic Recovery Challenge. We received the Control Award. In the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 seasons, we competed at Clarkson University’s Robotics Academy Challenge and won the Think Award and the Control Award. We came in 8th place in Utica MVCC Qualifier and we were in second place for the Reach Award.
