Bexley Student Technology Service Catalog

Bexley City Schools uses many online tools and applications to assist and enhance student experience. We want parents to be aware of the tools being used by students that require their authentication or maintain created work. Below is a list of tools or resources being used for our current school year.

Each year we have parents confirm and acknowledge the use of the tools and resources as part of the Acceptable Use Policy and the annual registration through PowerSchool. While this is a list maintained and updated throughout the school year, only services adopted for the current school year will be covered under the Acceptable Use Policy. Any additional services that require student authentication not included in the Service Catalog for the current school year will be provided with parent approval where applicable.

Program Platforms

Program platforms are larger suites of services that aid in productivity but have varying features and tools. They can be used to create or consume content, instruction delivery and assessment. Tools like GSuite and Microsoft 365 are also used to authenticate users to other services in our Service Catalog.

Management tools are used as dashboards or access tools for providing access to other resources or for maintaining student information. Their services are necessary for district management to provide support for learning, documentation, and state reporting.

Assessment Delivery

Tools for assessment delivery include both formative and summative assessment tools. The formative tools are used by teachers to best adapt instruction to student's needs. Other tools include state and national testing platforms.

Content Platforms

Our content platform partners include our textbook company resources and services that go beyond providing a single use or feature. Many of these tools include assessment features and instruction delivery.

Content Access

Content access services are used to provide students resources from instruction.  These tools go beyond our content platforms and textbook resources to supplement or enhance other resources.
