Stubborn Couple Shocked to Discover Child is Stubborn

A Queens family is mystified about the source of their pre-K child’s stubbornness.

“He refuses to get dressed in the morning,” said his dad, forcing a shirt over the child’s head.

“No--the blue shirt today,” said his mom, pulling off the first shirt. “And his brown pants, not his jeans.”

"He'll be on the playground--he needs jeans," said his dad, struggling to remove the brown pants. 

“He needs a t-shirt under that,” said his grandma, taking off the second shirt.

“No, he doesn't!” shouted his mom and dad, putting the shirt back on.

“It’s such a simple process to get dressed,” said his dad. “Why does he resist it so much?”
