students to encourage open discussions to speak, listen, and support it.

Our campaign is committed to de-stigmatize mental health issues, fostering understanding, and advocating for mental wellness through the promotion of open discussions. We believe in creating a safe space to discuss mental health openly and transparently.

What is Mental Health Stigma?

"It refers to the negative attitudes, preconceptions, and ideas that society at large has about those who struggle with mental health issues or disorders. It involves mistreating someone and discriminating because of their mental health. There are many types of stigma: self, public, and systematic. Understanding the multifaceted nature of stigma is crucial in comprehending the challenges individuals face with mental health".

Signs that a Person may be Struggling with Their Mental Health 

Signs of mental health struggles can manifest in various ways, including changes in behavior, mood, or thought patterns. These signs may include increased withdrawal from social activities, extreme mood swings, difficulty concentrating, changes in sleeping or eating habits, and persistent feelings of sadness or anxiety.

Offering a hand for a friend or a colleague, family member or even support for someone in need might be difficult and a hard step if you don’t know where to start, there are many ways to help you might be the hope in this person's life.
