***Please note this is an early dismissal day

Reminder - New Time Schedule for 2022-2023 School Year

As you are well aware, the traffic on the campus this year has been a tremendous challenge.  The increase in traffic is due to more parents driving their children to and from school as a result of the pandemic, consolidation of the BMS and BHS time schedules, and increased enrollment.  This year, the town was able to support additional officers with federal funds.  Next year, those funds will not be available.  As a result, we have no other option, with our responsibilities to bus students to Abbott Tech, St. Mary’s, and vo-ag schools, other than to adjust the schedule back to three tiers.  Therefore, the new bell schedule for next year can be viewed at 2022-2023 School Time Schedule

Walking Dogs in the Educational Complex

Those who know me well, know that I am an avid lover of dogs.  Many citizens walk the educational complex and walk their dogs.  We want the community to continue to enjoy this amazing walking space.  A reminder, dogs are not permitted on any fields and especially unleashed at any time.  We have an amazing dog park in Bethel if you want to have open space for your dog to run around and play with others dogs.  In addition, pick up after your dog.  These fields are used by our children and our athletic teams.  We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.

In addition, we want to remind you that our playgrounds are not open to the public during the school day. It creates a security risk. We have amazing parks in the community with playgrounds that you access during the school day
