Program Recognitions - Winter Guard and Best Communities for Music Education

Right before April Break our senior Winter Guard program competed at the international level after winning regional competitions.  Our students placed tenth place in the world for their program, “Off the Rails”.  Winter Guard is known as the “Sport of the Arts” combining athleticism, the difficult skill of spinning equipment, creative design, dance, and performance in one activity. The dedication of our students and parents who support this program is noteworthy and the reason for the success of the program.

Bethel Public Schools was recently awarded the 2022 Best Communities for Music Education.  This award recognizes outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students, and community leaders and their support for music education as part of a well-rounded education for all children.  Congratulations to our outstanding music staff for their work!

STEAM Expo

Last Wednesday, we conducted our STEAM Expo at Bethel High School.  Our students, in grades K through 12 developed independent and innovative research projects, in which they showcased their learning.  The evening was a huge success.  Thank you to all of the district staff who volunteered their time to make it happen.
