Third grade is an exciting year filled with new learning. This year we will focus on multiplication and division in math. Our word study program, Fundations, reinforces spelling patterns. In science, we will focus on energy transfer, plant and animal structures for survival, and the water cycle. In social studies, we study our great state of Connecticut. In English language arts, our work centers around book clubs as well as informational reading and writing.
