¡Hola! My name is Ms. Gremar and I am the Spanish teacher at Liberty Intermediate. A little about me, I grew up in Bourbonnais attending BESD 53 schools. After graduating ONU, with a double major in Elementary Education and Spanish in 2010, I spent a year teaching in Costa Rica. Upon returning to the USA, I taught K-6 Spanish/ELL for eight years in Danville, Illinois. During that time, I earned my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction of Bilingual Education. What is Spanish Explore?

Spanish explore is meant to expose your children to Spanish language and culture in a dynamic and engaging manner. Our goal by the end of the 12 weeks is for your child to be able to start a friendship with a child who only speaks Spanish. This goal guides all of our units and our speaking focus questions which we will test on each unit. There will not be homework but this website contains all vocabulary words that will be covered so feel free to practice at home. If you have any questions please contact me at gremark@besd53.org.
