Hamersma Selected for WFCA All Star Game
The Wisconsin Football Coaches Association (WFCA) has announced the rosters for the 2024 WFCA All-Star Game. Senior Wyatt Hamersma was selected to the North - Small School roster and will play defensive back in the game. The WFCA All Star Game will take place at UW-Oshkosh on July 20 at 12:00p. Congratulations, Hammer!

Hamersma selected to 2023 WFCA All-Region Team
The Wisconsin Football Coaches Association (WFCA) has released their 2023 All-Region Teams. Senior Wyatt Hamersma has been selected to the Region 3 Small School team as a defensive back and running back. Congratulations Wyatt on this achievement!
2023 WFCA Academic All State Team
The Wisconsin Football Coaches Association (WFCA) has released their 2023 Academic All State team. The recognition is given to individuals that attain a high level of success in the classroom.
Minimum requirements for Individual Academic All-State recognition are:
Age Qualification: (Senior)
Academic Qualification: 3.75 (cumulative) GPA or higher
Athletic Qualification: Varsity Letter Winner

Team Building Activity
The Varsity football team participated in their annual team building bowling outing on Wednesday, August 9 during the afternoon practice. The coaches and team manager each drafted their squad of four bowlers to compete for the prestigious trophy and extra conditioning during Thursday's practice.
With a two game combined score of 905, Coach Marshall's team of Jack, Royce, Camden and Joel came out victorious.
Packers, American Family Insurance donate new Xenith helmets to BHS Football
The Berlin High School football team was one of 10 high school football teams in the state to receive $6,000 worth of new helmets as part of the Packers Helmet Give Back Program. Coaches and Athletic Directors from around the state applied last fall to receive the new helmets.
The gift is part of a donation match by Xenith as part of their Community Give Back Program and their Buy a Helmet Give a Helmet Program. The donations also are made possible through the support of American Family Insurance.
WIAA Approves Football-Only Conference Plans
In March of 2023 the WIAA approved conference realignment plans for the Fall 2024 season and beyond. Beginning in the 2024 season, Berlin will be playing in the South Central Conference for Football only. The 2023 season will be the last season for Berlin in the current East Central Conference.
