Author Visit Lindsay Currie

Best-selling author Lindsay Currie recently came for a visit and answered many people's questions and shared many interesting facts about herself, so if you didn't get the pleasure of meeting her, I am here to share everything. Lindsey Currie is a New York Times Best-Selling author of the Delta Games series and other standalone novels. 

Lindsay Currie gets her inspiration for her books from real-life events in her own life and history. She often walks around, and if she sees something interesting, she will write it down and research it later. Lindsay Currie said her favorite part about creating her books is the research. She frequently draws her character inspiration from people she meets and will even use their names. Lindsey Currie said that for her, the actual writing is the quickest and easiest part of the writing process. 

Lindsay Currie encourages people to never give up on writing if they truly enjoy it. It took Currie three years to get an agent and another three years to sell a book. Lindsay Currie says she will always keep doors open to other genres, but she highly enjoys the genre in which she writes. Currie doesn't have a writing schedule because she feels that writing when you want to helps the creative process. When Currie has writer's block, she will step away from her work, take a walk, and make sure she takes a total break.
