COME LEARN-TO-ROW! MARCH 3 2019
Every spring Berkeley High Crew hosts a free Learn-to-Row Day open to all youth ages 11 and up.
The 2019 Learn-to-Row event is set for Sunday, March 3Â from 9:00 AM to Noon at the Jack London Aquatic Center.
Learn-to-Row Day is a great opportunity for students (and parents) to learn about the sport of rowing in general, and rowing at Berkeley High in particular. It is also a chance to meet the teams coaches, current student-athletes and their parents, and other future Berkeley High rowers.
Participants will learn the basics on rowing machines and on the water in our unsinkable training barge.
There will also be an informal information session for parents while the kids are bonding on the water. (This will be your opportunity to ask anything you like.)
Register
While this event is free, space is limited and we ask that you register in advance. Registration closes a day before the event (or when full).
And there are also spots available in our week-long summer camps! Space is limited, so please be sure to register soon to secure your position.
What to bring
Participants should come dressed for outdoor, physical activity. Please avoid overly baggy shorts, as they can get caught in the equipment.
We recommend sunscreen and a hat as we will be outdoors for the entire morning.
