This story is set in a world where some people are born with a special ability called a Grace. The story follows Katsa, a young princess gifted with a killing grace, as she tries to break free of her uncle, the Kings’, abuse of her power and find her own identity. Along the way, she forms unexpected alliances, while also unraveling a mystery that could change everything about her world. This is an amazing book, and I really loved it. The characters are amazing and unique, and the plot twists keep you turning the pages late into the night. The storyline is completely original, and it really is a completely different world.

In Fast Break by Mike Lupica, a kid named Jason has been living off of stealing after his Mom died and her boyfriend left him. At the same time, Jason is the best point guard in his school, and this year there is going to be a big tournament. The drama and the way the book makes you imagine yourself in Jason’s position made me want to keep reading. People will enjoy this book because it really makes you understand what it's like being poor and it has great sports moments.

Rebound by Kwame Alexander is a novel-in-verse. After Chuck Bell's father dies, he goes into a crisis, but he eventually goes on an unexpected trip for the rest of his summer: his grandparents' house! I loved this book due to its amazing formatting and rhymes. The story also built up the side characters as real people. People who liked Crossover and Booked will enjoy this because it has the same format with (roughly) the same story structure.
