Xueyin (Snow) Zhang

I am an assistant professor in the Department of Philosophy and a member of the Logic Group at the University of California, Berkeley.  You can view my CV here.

I work in formal epistemology, decision theory, and the philosophy of probability. Recently, I have been exploring the logic and probability of conditionals. I halso ave a research interest in Chinese philosophy.

I completed my Ph.D. at Princeton University in 2021, under the supervision of Adam Elga and Harvey Lederman. Before that I received a B.A in Philosophy and Mathematics from Wellesley College (2016).

My Chinese name is Xueyin (雪音), which means "the sound of snow"; my initials are XYZ.

Probability is the very guide of life. Probably.
