October 1, 2024 - Creating a Digital Accessibility Plan
Do you know how to create a digital accessibility plan? Neither did Jesse Loesberg, until he took on the role of Digital Accessibility Program Manager for the Library! Learn how Jesse leveraged the consent decree with the Department of Justice into a framework for managing the accessibility of the Library's entire web presence, from open-source like Drupal and WordPress to third-party vendor applications. He'll discuss how he identified the "easy wins", his approach to communicating with stakeholders, and his ultimate vision for a fully accessible internet.
