May 2, 2023 - Manual Testing for Accessibility: Anyone can (and should) do it!
We talk a lot about Siteimprove for accessibility testing, and Siteimprove is a great tool . . . but it’s an automated tool, and automation only catches between 30% and 50% of accessibility issues. For the rest, you need to test manually. But don’t worry! With just a few basic skills and concepts, you’ll be able to perform manual accessibility tests to address keyboard pitfalls, screen reader gaps, and color contrast issues that most automated tools will miss.
