The Rausser College website, which typically hosts the Sponsored Projects for Undergraduate Research (SPUR) application process, is down. In an effort to continue to provide research opportunities to our undergraduate students, the College is utilizing Google Suite to facilitate the application process. We appreciate your patience and grace through this process.
Students will be able to apply to Faculty-Initiated Projects at 4pm from August 19th - 4pm on September 3rd. Students must submit all applications by no later than 4pm on September 3rd.
Here are the SPUR-Faculty Initiated Project postings. Feel free to review now. On August 28th at 4pm, the application links, listed on the projects’ postings, will be activated to accept submissions.
THINGS TO REMEMBER
To apply, students will need a resume, cover letter, and unofficial copy of their transcript.
Students are required to be enrolled in units for participating in research.
Students apply to a maximum of 3 faculty-initiated projects, which will be time stamped. Additional applications submitted after the 3rd submission will automatically be cancelled and not considered.
Students may not participate in more than one SPUR project per semester.
Only Rausser College students are eligible to apply for SPUR.
First-Year students are not eligible to apply until the Spring semester. Incoming transfer students are eligible to apply for Fall
