CMG is excited to have 2013 Haas MBA Alum, Alexander Wooten, share his experience in the Energy and Finance/Strategy spaces. Alex is currently VP Finance at Sunrun. https://www.linkedin.com/in/alexanderwooten/

Bio: Sunrun is the #1 home solar battery company in America. At Sunrun, Alex manages a team of Finance professionals and informs the company's strategy. He enjoys being challenged and one of his many skills is synthesizing large information sets into concise actionable plans to increase impact. You can read Sunrun's 2022 Impact Report here. 

Prior to Sunrun, Alex has demonstrated a depth of Corporate Finance and Strategy expertise, particularly in the Clean Energy space, that spans companies such as Tesla, SolarCity, SunPower Corp, and RockPort Capital. Notably, Alex was retained by Tesla as the head of North America Sales Finance following Tesla's acquisition of SolarCity in 2016. 

During his time at Haas, Alex was the VP of Finance for MBAA and VP of Alumni for BERC. He graduated with honors (top 10% of the class) and taught 100+ undergraduates as a GSI.
